VC-backed Ablynx files for IPO
Ablynx, a Belgian biopharmaceutical company, has filed for an IPO. The number of shares that will be sold as well as the stock's pricing terms have yet to be set. Ablynx, which currently trades on the Euronext Brussels, is planning on listing its U.S. stock on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol ABLX.” BofA Merrill Lynch, J.P. Morgan and Jefferies are the lead underwriters. According to Crunchbase, Ablynx's backers include Abingworth, Alta Partners, Gimv and Sofinnova Partners.
