Amalfi Semiconductor, which is backed by Battery Ventures, DCM, Globespan Capital Partners and Trinity Ventures, has named Mark Foley chief executive. Foley was previously the co-founder and previous CEO of RF Magic, a semiconductor company. Amalfi Semiconductor is based in Los Gatos, Calif.
