VC-backed Cohesity hires new COO and field operations head

Santa Clara, California-based Cohesity, a provider of converged secondary storage, has named Riccardo Di Blasio as COO and head of field operations. Previously, Di Blasio was the senior vice president of vCloud hybrid services at VMware. Cohesity's backers include Sequoia Capital, Wing Venture Capital, ARTIS Ventures, Google Ventures, Qualcomm Ventures, Accel Partners, Battery Ventures and Trinity Ventures.
