VC-Backed Influitive acquires Engagio
Influitive Inc., a Toronto-based company which helps businesses improve their marketing and sales effectiveness, acquired startup Engagio Inc., which features a social web platform for searching, discovering and following social conversations. The financial terms of the transaction were not published. Influitive was founded in 2012 with the backing of Canadian and US venture capital firms, including Accelerator Ventures, First Round Capital, Golden Venture Partners, Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, Illuminate Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners, New Enterprise Associates, Relay Ventures, Resolute.VC and other investors.
