IronPlanet and Cat Auction Services have completely merged. No financial terms were disclosed. IronPlanet is an online marketplace for buying and selling used heavy equipment and trucks while Cat Auction Services holds auctions on used heavy equipment. IronPlanet is backed by Accel Partners and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers.
