VC-backed Oxford Immunotec rolls out IPO

Oxford Immunotec debuted its IPO on Friday after having priced 5,360,000 shares at $12 per share. The stock is trading on the NASDAQ under the ticker symbol "OXFD." J.P. Morgan and Piper Jaffray & Co. are serving as lead underwriters. Headquartered near Oxford, UK and in Marlborough, Mass., Oxford Immunotec is a diagnostics company that focuses on immunological diseases. Its backers include Clarus Ventures, New Leaf Venture Partners, DFJ Esprit, Imperial Innovations, Wellington, Invesco, SPARK Ventures and Kaiser Permanente Ventures.
