VC-backed Profusa appoints former Senate Majority Leader Frist to board
South San Francisco-based Profusa, a developer of sensors for chronic disease management and healthy living, has named Dr. William Frist to its board of directors. Frist is the former U.S. Senate Majority Leader. Currently, he is a partner and chairman of the executive council at Cressey & Co. Profusa is backed by 3E Bioventures. Asset Management Ventures and Qihoo 360.
