VC-backed Ripple taps Garlinghouse as new CEO
Ripple, a financial settlement solutions provider, has named Brad Garlinghouse to succeed Chris Larsen as CEO. Garlinghouse's appointment becomes effective January 1, 2017. Larsen will transition from CEO to executive chairman of Ripple's board of directors. Ripple's backers include Standard Chartered, Accenture Ventures, SCB Digital Ventures and SBI Holdings.
