VC-backed vaccine developer Genocea Biosciences files for IPO
Genocea Biosciences has filed for an IPO. The number of shares that will be sold as well as pricing terms have yet to be decided. Citigroup and Cowen and Company will serve as lead underwriters. Based in Cambridge, Mass., Genocea Biosciences is a vaccine developer. Its backers include Polaris Venture Partners, Lux Capital Management, SR One, Cycad Group, Auriga Partners, Morningside Ventures, Johnson & Johnson Development Corporation, Skyline Ventures, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and MP Healthcare Venture Management.
