Los Angeles-based cannabis brand F/ELD has raised $6 million in funding. The investors included Navy Capital and Serruya Private Equity. The capital infusion will be used for expansion, to scale operations and bring more products to market.

CapitalG leads Series C round for Convoy

Seattle-based Convoy, a technology-enabled trucking network, has secured $185 million in Series C financing. CapitalG led the round. In conjunction with the funding, David Lawee of CapitalG will join Convoy's board of directors.

The Ziegler Link•Age Fund II backs three healthcare firms

The Ziegler Link•Age Fund II L.P. has made investments in three healthcare-focused firms: Chronic Care Management, a technology and services care management provider; Socially Determined, a healthcare data company; and AllyAlign Health Inc, a care management services organization focused on helping long-term care providers,. No financial terms were disclosed.

Beanworks nabs $10.1 mln in FINTOP, BDC-led Series B round

Beanworks, a Vancouver-based accounts payable automation company, has secured $10.1 million in a Series B financing. The round was led by U.S. venture capital firm FINTOP Capital alongside BDC Capital’s Women in Technology Venture Fund. They were joined by new and existing investors. As a result, BDC Capital's Michelle Scarborough and FINTOP's Joe Maxwell joined the board. Founded in 2012, Beanworks' cloud-based solution helps businesses streamline invoice-to-payment strategies by eliminating paperwork and reducing processing costs. Led by CEO Catherine Dahl, Beanworks will use the funds raised to enhance its platform, release an expense module, and expand into new markets.

Healthy kids' meal brand Yumble nabs $7 mln Series A

Yumble, a healthy kids' meal brand, has raised $7 million in Series A funding, bringing its total funding tally to $8.5 million. Sonoma Brands led the round with participation from Danone Manifesto Ventures, Wharton Professor Martin Lautman, RiverPark Ventures, Launch Capital and Apple Core.

Digital healthcare platform Vezeeta procures $12 mln Series C

Egypt-based Vezeeta, a digital healthcare platform, has raised $12 million in Series C funding. STV led the round with participation from BECO Capital, Vostok New Ventures, Silicon Badia and Crescent Enterprises' CE Ventures.

MJ Freeway rakes in $10 mln Series C

Denver-based MJ Freeway, a cannabis technology company, has closed $10 million in Series C funding. Batu Capital Investments led the round.

Residential rental startup Zumper locks in $46 mln Series C

San Francisco-based Zumper, a residential rental startup, has raised $46 million in Series C funding. The investors included Axel Springer, Stereo Capital, Blackstone, Dawn Capital, Kleiner Perkins, Breyer Capital, Scott Cook and Goodwater Capital.

Galera Therapeutics fetches $150 mln Series C

Malvern, Pennsylvania-based Galera Therapeutics Inc, a clinical-stage biotechnology company, has secured $150 million in Series C financing. Clarus led the round with participation from Adage Capital Management, HBM Healthcare Investments, Nan Fung Life Sciences, RA Capital, Rock Springs Capital, Tekla Capital Management LLC, Correlation Ventures, Galera Angels, New Enterprise Associates, Novartis Venture Fund, Novo Ventures and Sofinnova Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Dr. Emmett T. Cunningham Jr, a managing director at Clarus, will join Galera’s board of directors.
