Efinix gathers $9.5 mln

Efinix, a provider of programmable product platforms and technology, has closed $9.5 million in funding. Xilinx and Hong Kong X Technology Fund, an investment fund supported by Sequoia Capital China, led the round with participation from Samsung Ventures Investment Corp, Hong Kong Inno Capital and Brizan Investments.

Transit rides away with $5 mln Series A

Montreal-based Transit, a transit app, has raised $5 million in Series A funding, according to a blog post. Accel led the round with participation from Accomplice, Real Ventures and the Business Development Bank of Canada.

NEA and Revolution Growth leads Series C round for Tempus

Chicago-based Tempus, which is building a library of molecular and clinical data, has raised $70 million in Series C funding. New Enterprise Associates and Revolution Growth led the round.

Deep Genomics lands $13 mln in follow-on round led by Khosla

Deep Genomics, a Toronto genetic medicine startup, has raised $13 million in follow-on financing. Khosla Ventures led the round and was joined by True Ventures, which led the company’s $5 million seed financing in 2015. Spun out of the University of Toronto in 2014, Deep Genomics is building a biologically accurate, data- and artificial intelligence-driven technology platform that supports geneticists, molecular biologists and chemists in the development of therapies.

JMI Equity exits automotiveMastermind

IHS Markit has acquired New York City and San Francisco-based automotiveMastermind Inc, a provider of predictive analytics and marketing automation technology for the automotive industry. The purchase price was about $392 million. Jefferies LLC served as financial adviser to automotiveMastermind on the deal. AutomovieMastermind's backers included JMI Equity.

Nanoport fetches $7 mln

Silicon Valley-based Nanoport Technology, an R&D lab for mobile technologies, has secured $7 million in funding. Horizons Ventures led the round with participation from BrightSpark Ventures, Kensington Capital Partners and Nano Magnetics.

White Oak backs Hopebridge

White Oak Healthcare Finance has provided funding to Indianapolis-based Hopebridge LLC, a provider of pediatric, clinic-based, outpatient therapy services to children and adolescents with developmental and behavioral challenges. No financial terms were disclosed.

VR startup Dreamscape Immersive targets $20 mln Series B

Los Angeles-based Dreamscape Immersive, a virtual reality startup, is raising $20 million in Series B funding. AMC Entertainment will be the lead investor.

Fairphone pulls in about $7.7 mln

Fairphone, a Dutch maker of modular smartphones, has raised 6.5 million euros (approximately $7.7 million) in funding. The investors included Pymwymic Impact Investing Cooperative and DOEN Participaties.

vXchange nets over $200 mln

Tampa, Florida-based vXchange, a provider of carrier-neutral colocation services, has raised over $200 million in funding. The investors were not named.
