Taunt, an esports startup, has secured $1.75 million in seed financing. Foundry Group led the round with participation from other backers that included Vulcan Capital.

Rhine snaps up $1.94 mln seed

Rhine, a smart alternative to security deposits, has raised $1.94 million in seed financing. The lead investor was ff Venture Capital. Also, Lakehouse Ventures, Picus Capital, FJ Labs and Red Dog participated in the round.

Guru reels in $9.3 mln Series A

Guru, a provider of coaching solutions for support and sales teams, has raised $9.3 million in Series A funding. Emergence Capital led the round with participation from return backers FirstMark Capital and MSD Capital.

S3 Ventures leads $22 mln investment in on-demand delivery service Favor

Austin, Texas-based Favor, provider of an on-demand delivery service, announced it has raised $22 million in Series B funding. Existing investor S3 Ventures led the round. The company, founded in 2013 and also backed by Silverton Partners, Tim Draper and others, has now raised $34 million in total funding.

Notable Labs gathers $10 mln Series A

Notable Labs, a provider of personalized cancer treatments, has secured $10 million in Series A financing. Builders VC led the round. In conjunction with the funding, Jim Kim, a founding member and general partner of Builders VC, joined Notable’s board of directors.

Montage nabs $8 mln, acquires GreenJobInterview

Montage, a provider of video and voice interviewing solutions for top brands, has raised $8 million in funding. Plymouth Growth Partners led the round with participation from previous backers Baird Capital, Beringea and GCI. In addition to the funding, Montage has acquired Costa Mesa, California-based GreenJobInterview, a video interviewing platform.

PE-backed Tabula Rasa buys SinfoníaRx

Tabula Rasa Healthcare has acquired SinfoníaRx, a provider of medication therapy management technology and services for Medicare, Medicaid and commercial health plans. No financial terms were disclosed. Signal Hill advised SinfoníaRx on the transaction. Tabula Rasa’s backers included Originate Ventures, Radius Ventures and Emerald Stage2 Ventures.

Industrial drones provider Airobotics fetches $32.5 mln

California and Israel-based Airobotics, a provider of automated industrial drones, has closed $32.5 million in funding. The investors included BlueRun Ventures China, Microsoft Ventures and OurCrowd.com.

Indian hotel aggregator Oyo raises $250 mln from SoftBank fund, others: Reuters

Indian hotel aggregator Oyo said on Thursday it has raised $250 million from new and existing investors in a fresh round of funding led by Japanese conglomerate SoftBank’s Vision Fund.

NS1 attracts $20 mln in GGV Capital-led round

NS1, an intelligent DNS and traffic management provider, has raised $20 million in funding. GGV Capital led the round with participation from other investors that included Salesforce Ventures, Deutsche Telekom Capital Partners, Flybridge Capital Partners, Sigma Prime Ventures, Telstra Ventures and Two Sigma Ventures. In addition to the funding, GGV Capital's Glenn Solomon will join NS1's board.
