Vesta Energy raises $216.7 mln

Riverstone Holdings LLC and JOG Capital are leading a C$295 million ($216.7 mln) round of financing for Vesta Energy Corp. Vesta also announced a C$10 million private placement. Vest, of Calgary, Alberta, is an exploration and production focused on the development of light oil properties in the shallow Joffre Duvernay Shale oil play. BMO Capital Markets and Goldman Sachs Canada provided financial advice to Vesta.
