Robinson was hired based on his years of experience working closely with investors, according to a spokesperson.
Robinson joins Vision Capital from HSBC Global Asset Management, where he was the global head of alternatives distribution.
Prior to HSBC, Robinson was an executive director of Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where he led business development for Asia. He initially joined Goldman Sachs as a vice president, running the US portfolio advisory group.
