VMware to buy VC-backed Wavefront
VMware Inc is acquiring Palo Alto, California-based Wavefront, a metrics monitoring service for cloud and modern application environments. No financial terms were disclosed. The deal is expected to close in the second quarter of this year. Wavefront's backers include Sequoia Capital, Sutter Hill Ventures and Tenaya Capital.
