Voyager Capital leads $8.5 mln round for Make.TV
Make.TV, a provider of cloud-based live video acquisition and management solutions, has secured $8.5 million in funding. Voyager Capital led the round with participation from Microsoft Ventures, Vulcan Capital and Arnold Ventures. I addition to the funding, Erik Benson, a general partner at Voyager Capital and Bruce Chizen, ex-CEO of Adobe Systems, will join Make.TV's board. And, Jonathan Wilner, former vice president of product and strategy at Telstra's Ooyala, has been appointed chief marketing officer.
