Wellington Partners backs Onfido
London-based Onfido, which specializes in providing background checks for companies, has secured $4.5 million in Series A funding, the company announced in a blog post on its site. Wellington Partners led the round with other investors that included CrunchFund. According to Onfido, the capital infusion will be used for personnel hiring and technology development.
