Winfrey to buy 10 percent of Weight Watchers

Oprah Winfrey is buying 10 percent of Weight Watchers International Inc.’s shares outstanding. Winfrey, who is joining the Weight Watcher's program as a member, will share her experiences. She is also receiving options to buy an additional 5 percent of the company’s fully diluted shares and is joining the company's board.
