Wireless Seismic Raises $19.5 Million

Wireless Seismic, a developer of wireless seismic data acquisition systems, has raised $19.5 million from Chesapeake Energy and Energy Ventures. With the new financing, Wireless Seismic plans to expand its manufacturing operations. Energy Ventures is based in Norway. Oklahoma City-based Chesapeake Energy focuses on investments in natural gas and oil fields onshore in the U.S.
