WorkFusion nabs $15 mln Series B led by MDV, joined by iNovia Capital

WorkFusion, formerly known as CrowdComputing Systems, has secured US$15 million in a Series B financing round. The deal was led by U.S. venture capital firm Mohr Davidow Ventures, with participation from Canadian firm iNovia Capital, one of WorkFusion's existing investors. Other backers included Greycroft Partners and RTP Ventures. Mohr Davidow's Katherine Barr, who was earlier this month interviewed by peHUB Canada, will join the company's board of directors. Based in New York, WorkFusion has developed a SaaS machine learning platform that automates repetitive tasks and provides workforce analytics.
