Xcell grabs $12 mln Series A
San Francisco-based Xcell Biosciences, a developer of products in areas that include cancer research, immunology, stem cell biology and cell therapy development, has company secured $12 million in Series A financing. HBM Genomics led the round. In conjunction with the funding, Saeid Akhtari, a managing director of HBM Genomics, has been added to Xcell Biosciences' board of directors.
