XPV, EnerTech join $14.7 mln follow-on financing of FilterBoxx
FilterBoxx Water & Environmental Corp has secured $14.7 million in follow-on financing. The deal was led by an unnamed Swiss family office, a representative of which will join the company's board of directors. It also saw the participation of existing Canadian investors XPV Capital Corp and EnerTech Capital, which co-led FilterBoxx's $9 million round in 2011. Based in Calgary, FilterBoxx is a provider of packaged potable water and wastewater treatment systems to drilling, mining and pipeline camps, small municipalities and aboriginal communities. The new funds will support company growth in new and emerging markets, as well as its role as a leading source of solutions in Alberta.
