Y Combinator hires ex-Twitter COO Rowghani to lead new $700 mln fund
Y Combinator has hired former Twitter COO Ali Rowghani as a full-time partner, according to a blog post authored by Sam Altman, the Silicon Valley-based seed accelerator's president. Rowghani will run a new venture fund that focuses on later-stage YC startups. Although Altman does not mention how much capital has been raised for the YC Continuity Fund, various news outlets peg the amount at $700 million.
