TA Associates invests in Interswitch

TA Associates said March 6 that it acquired a minority stake in Interswitch. Financial terms weren’t announced. Helios Investment Partners will remain the majority shareholder of Interswitch. Interswitch, of Lagos, Nigeria, is an Africa-focused digital payments and commerce company. Latham & Watkins served as legal counsel to TA Associates. Debevoise & Plimpton served as legal counsel to Helios Investment Partners.
