TA Associates invests in pet retailer PetPeople as Rosser Capital exits

TA Associates has made an undisclosed investment in PetPeople, a retailer of dog and cat foods, treats and supplies. As a result of this transaction, PetPeople's previous backer Rosser Capital Partners has exited its stake in the company. Piper Jaffray served as financial adviser to PetPeople.
