PH&N Absolute Return named Canada's top performing hedge fund
Alternative IQ announced that PH&N Absolute Return Fund was named the best overall Canadian hedge fund in 2016. The award was presented at the the 9th Annual Canadian Hedge Fund Awards in Toronto. The PH&N fund, managed by Phillips, Hager & North, was given top spot among 195 hedge funds for having the best combined 10-year return (15.45 percent) and Sharpe ratio (1.61 percent). Second and third place went to King & Victoria Fund and Venator Founders Fund, respectively. SGGG Fund Services was named top Canadian hedge fund administrator.
