ADT to sell Canada operations, assets for $527 mln

ADT Inc said Oct 1 that it agreed to sell ADT Security Services Canada Inc to Telus Corp for about C$700 million ($527 million). The deal includes ADT Canada’s operations and assets. ADT said it also approved a one-time special dividend of up to $550 million and plans to set the dividend at 70 cents per share. ADT is the security company backed by Apollo Global Management.
