Alfa Capital Partners bolsters teams

The private equity and real estate divisions of Moscow-based Alfa Capital Partners have been strengthened with two new appointments and two promotions.

Moscow-based private equity firm Alfa Capital Partners (ACP) has made two appointments and two promotions to its private equity and real estate teams.
Slava Sinadski has joined ACP as managing director of the firm’s private equity team. Sinadski was previously managing director and member of the board of Russian mineral water producer JSC Narzan from 2003 to 2005. Prior to that, he was head of corporate finance with Deloitte & Touche and director of investment banking at Russian investment bank Troika Dialog.
New investment director Denis Kourakin was previously at Boston Consulting Group in San Francisco and Moscow. From 1997 to 1998, he worked at Coopers and Lybrand, conducting audit and financial due diligence projects in Russia.
In addition, Vladislav Mamoulkine has been promoted to managing director of ACP’s private equity team, having joined the firm as investment director in September 2004. Andrey Pogodin, previously investment manager since June 2004, has been promoted to investment director in the firm’s real estate division.
ACP is the private equity arm of Russian financial industrial conglomerate Alfa Group. The firm held a $105 million (€130.5 million) first closing of private equity fund Alfa Private Equity Partners in March of this year, with a $250 million target, and is currently raising a $150 million real estate vehicle targeting property developments and income-producing assets predominantly in Moscow, St Petersburg and Kiev.
