Professional services firm A&M has hired three MDs in the region and opened a Singapore office.

Global private equity consultancy firm Alvarez & Marsal has made three senior appointments in Asia and opened an office in Singapore.
Paul Forgue rejoins the firm as managing director in Hong Kong. Forgue has spent more than two decades in advisory services and also recently served as chief financial officer and chief operating officer of Truett-Hurst, a California-based NASDAQ-listed winery.
Myung Chul Kim has been appointed managing director and head of A&M's Korea office in Seoul. Kim, who has more than 20 years of experience working across Asia, was previously in a senior management role with Hyundai Group.
In China, the firm has hired State Shi as the firm's managing director and head of Asia tax practice. Before joining the firm, Shi spent more than 12 years with KPMG in China, Australia and the US as an M&A tax partner and lead tax partner of the Chinese technology, media and telecommunications sector team.
“The appointments of State, Myung Chul and Paul along with the opening of our Singapore office furthers our ability to deliver end-to-end solutions for clients and demonstrates our continuing commitment to meeting their needs,” James Dubow, co-head of A&M's Asia practice in Hong Kong, said. “Our growing footprint in Asia will enable us to help clients better navigate the multiple business climates and regional issues they face.”
A&M's Singapore office is located in the Marina Bay Financial Centre and will be headed by Thomas Dillenseger, a senior director at the firm based in Hong Kong.
The firm works with private equity firms on areas such as performance improvement, turnaround management and tax advisory services. A&M has Asian offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Mumbai, Seoul and Hong Kong.
