Anacacia Capital raises A$300m

The Sydney-based asset manager closed its third buyout fund.

Anacacia Capital held a final close for its Anacacia Fund III at A$300 million ($226 million; €195 million) target. The fund was launched in March 2018.
Investors of the fund include superannuation funds, global pension funds, endowments, family offices and funds of funds from new and existing investors. A little over half the investors are from Australia and the balance from the US, Asia and Europe
The fund’s predecessor has raised A$150 million ($114 million; €98 million) in 2013.

Similar to the previous fund’s strategy, the firm will use the capital to make investment in consumer goods and industrial sector in Australia.
