The Paris-based firm has held a final closing of its tenth midmarket fund at its hard-cap.

Apax Partners SAS held a final closing of Apax Midmarket X at its €1.6 billion ($1.89 billion) hard-cap, exceeding its target of €1.2 billion ($1.42 billion). Capital raised by the vehicle will be used to invest in companies throughout Europe across diversified sectors that include healthcare, technology, telecommunications, business services and consumer services.

Fund X exceeded the size of its predecessor, Apax Midmarket IX, which closed at €1.03 billion.
