Atrinsic Buys VC-backed ShopIt
Atrinsic Inc. (Nasdaq: ATRN) has acquired ShopIt.com, a Brentwood, Calif.-based e-commerce platform that allows buyers and sellers to tap into social networks like Facebook. No financial terms were disclosed. ShopIt had raised a small amount of VC funding from Propulsion Ventures and Helios Investment Partners.
