U.S. buyout and mezzanine shops have collected $27.1 billion in capital commitments so far this year, a bit shy of the $29.9 billion they had gathered at this same time last year. Atlas Holdings LLC contributed to the latest market snapshot with the $365 million final close of Atlas Capital Resources LP. The Greenwich, Conn.-based shop originally sought $250 million for the fund.
