Renovia racks up $42.3 mln

Boston-based Renovia, a provider of digital therapeutic and diagnostic devices that help women with pelvic floor dysfunction, has raised $42.3 million in funding, which included $32.3 million in Series B equity and $10 million in venture debt. Perceptive Advisors and Ascension Ventures led the Series B round with participation from Longwood Fund, Inova Strategic Investments, Cormorant Asset Management, OSF Ventures and Western Technology Investment. And, WTI also provided the venture debt. BayCross Capital Group LLC advised Renovia on the transaction.

Zencargo fetches over $4 mln

UK-based Zencargo, digital freight forwarder, has raised over $4 million in seed funding. LocalGlobe led the round with participation from Samos Investments and Picus Capital.

Socotra locks in $5.5 mln from 8VC

Socotra, creator of an insurance core platform, has raised $5.5 million in Series A funding. The backer was 8VC. In addition to the funding, Joe Lonsdale, a founding partner at 8VC, will join the Socotra board.

Israeli diagnostics firm MeMed nabs over $70 mln

MeMed, an Israeli diagnostics company, has raised over $70 million in funding. The investors included Ping An Global Voyager Fund, Foxconn, Caesarea Medical Holdings, Clal Insurance, Phoenix Insurance, OurCrowd, Social Capital, WTI and Horizons Ventures.

Boldstart Ventures collects $40.65 mln for fourth fund

Boldstart Ventures has raised $40.65 million for its fourth fund, according to an SEC filing. The target is $75 million. New York City-based Boldstart invests in enterprise software.

Highspot lands $35 mln Series C

Seattle-based Highspot, a sales enablement platform, has raised $35 million in Series C funding. OpenView led the round with participation from Madrona Venture Group, Salesforce Ventures and Shasta Ventures.

Golden Gate Ventures leads $15 mln round for Shohoz

Shohoz, a Bangladesh-based online ride-sharing and ticketing platform, has raised $15 million in funding. Golden Gate Ventures led the round.

Dream Team inks $5 mln

DreamTeam, an infrastructure platform and payment gateway for esports and gaming, has secured $5 million in funding. The investor was Mangrove Capital Partners.

Sapphire Ventures recruits Spirito as partner

Sapphire Ventures has appointed Michael Spirito as a partner. He will begin his new position in October. Previously, he worked at 21st Century Fox where he led business development and digital media for the 22 Fox Sports Regional Networks.

Dental industry platform CareStack procures $16 mln

Florida and India-based CareStack, a technology platform for the dental industry, has raised $16 million in funding. Accel, F-Prime Capital Partners and Eight Roads Ventures led the round.
