A-LIGN, of Tampa, Florida, provides security and compliance solutions in the form of assessments, audits and cyber risk advisory and testing services for companies ranging from small-medium sized businesses to large enterprises.

Thompson Street Capital Partners said July 16 that its fifth fund closed on $1.15 billion in committed capital. Thompson Street Capital Partners V LP exceeded its original $850 million target. Thompson Fund V invests mainly in healthcare and life science services, software and technology services and business services and engineered products. Kirkland & Ellis LLP served as fund counsel for TSCP. Park Hill Group acted as placement agent for TSCP.

HGGC is accused of covering up a massive fraud at its portfolio company Citadel Plastics, according to the New York Post, which cited a lawsuit. Citadel allegedly had been selling products with the claim that they met Underwriters Laboratories specs, when they did not, the story said. HGGC invested in Citadel in 2015.
