Blackstone said June 19 that it agreed to buy PSAV. Financial terms weren’t announced. Goldman Sachs and Olympus Partners were the sellers. PSAV, of Shiller Park, Illinois, is an event technology and audiovisual company. Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley provided financial advice to PSAV, while Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP acted as legal counsel to PSAV. JP Morgan served as an adviser to management. Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP was legal counsel to Blackstone. AGM Partners, Barclays, Credit Suisse, and Moelis & Co provided financial advice to Blackstone.

PayPal Holdings Inc said June 19 that it agreed to buy Hyperwallet for $400 million cash. Hyperwallet, the Vancouver payments provider, supplies B2C and peer-to-peer services for corporations and financial institutions. Primus Capital and Bratenahl Capital Partners invested in Hyperwallet in 2014. Michael Grace of Perella Weinberg Partners LP provided financial advice to PayPal, while Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP acted as their legal adviser. Jon Steele of Raymond James & Associates Inc provided financial advice to Hyperwallet, while Goodwin Procter LLP was their legal adviser.
