Blackstone Group is preparing a dual process for Vivint, the smart-home technology company it acquired in 2012, the Wall Street Journal reported. Blackstone recently invited investment bankers to pitch for the sale/IPO, the story said. A deal could value Vivint at more than $3 billion, or $6 billion including debt, the WSJ said.

GTIS Partners said Sept. 12 that its GTIS Brazil Real Estate Fund III raised about $680 million. The pool held a final close in December. Several institutional investors took part in the fundraise. GTIS, of New York, is a real estate private equity firm.

Pegasus Solar said Sept. 11 that it closed on a Series A round of equity funding led by Ecosystem Integrity Fund. Also participating were Okapi Capital, Howard Wenger, Mike Miskovsky, and other solar industry executives. Financial terms of the round were not disclosed. Pegasus, of Richmond, California, designs and makes rooftop mounting systems for solar installations.

Silverfleet Capital said Sept. 12 that it agreed to buy Pumpenfabrik Wangen GmbH. Financial terms weren’t announced. Pumpenfabrik, of Wangen, German, makes screw pumps that are suitable for highly viscous or abrasive substances as well as solid-fluid composites.
