Ares Management LP and Blackstone Group are among the bidders vying for Fidelity & Guaranty Life (FGL), Bloomberg is reporting. Athene Holding Ltd, which is backed by Apollo Global Management, may also bid, the story said. HRG Group Inc put FGL up for sale in 2015 . In April, FGL terminated a deal with Anbang Insurance Group Co after the transaction struggled to win regulatory approval.

KKR is considering selling its 31 percent stake in Visma Group, a Norwegian software company, the Wall Street Journal reported. A sale of the Visma stake could fetch 1 billion euros ($1.1 billion), the story said. HgCapital and Cinven each own 31 percent of Visma with management owning the rest. It is possible that either HgCapital or Cinven could buy out KKR and boost their stake, the WSJ said.
