PlushCare said Nov. 3 it closed an $8 million Series A round of funding. GGV Capital led the round, with participation from Lightspeed Venture Partners and Exponent. PlushCare is a direct-to-consumer, online urgent care company, which connects doctors to patients through mobile and desktop devices.
