Capital Z Partners Management LLC said June 30 that it acquired Portfolio Group Inc. Frontenac Company LLC was the seller. Financial terms weren’t announced. Lake Forest, California-based Portfolio Group provides finance and insurance products, as well as services to automotive dealers across the country.

Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec (CDPQ) said June 29 that it invested 200 million euros ($222.9 million) in Eurofins Scientific. Eurofins, of Luxembourg, provides food, environment and pharmaceutical products testing and employs more than 23,000 people.

Talend SA, which is backed by Silver Lake, said June 30 that it has filed to go public. Talend, of France, helps corporations organize and analyze data. The company filed to raise as much as $86.25 million via the IPO. Goldman, Sachs & Co., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Barclays Capital Inc and Citigroup Global Markets Inc are joint bookrunners for the IPO while William Blair & Company LLC is acting as co-manager.

Google Capital has invested $46.35 million in Care.com Inc. Google Capital, a growth equity fund backed by Alphabet Inc, said it is the largest shareholder in Care.com. Waltham, Massachusetts-based Care.com, an online marketplace for finding and managing family care, said is used part of the proceeds to repurchase 3.7 million shares of its common stock from Matrix Partners for $30.5 million. Morgan Stanley acted as placement agent to Care.com and Latham & Watkins served as Care.com’s legal counsel in the transaction.

TA Associates has completed a majority investment in Masquepet SL ("Kiwoko"). Corpfin Capital and Prince Capital Partners sold 89.4 percent of Kiwoko to TA and Kiwoko’s founders.
