League said June 14 that it raised $25 million in Series A funding led by OMERS Ventures. Other investors include Infinite Potential Technologies; Real Ventures; and BDC IT Venture Fund. Strategic investors include RBC, owner of Citi National; John Hancock’s parent company, Manulife Financial; and Power Financial Corp. Toronto-based League is a digital health insurance platform.

Nexstar Broadcasting Group Inc and Media General Inc said June 13 that Nexstar agreed to sell five stations in five markets to USA Television MidAmerica Holdings LLC for $115 million. The sale follows Nexstar’s buy of Media General. USA Television is an affiliate of MSouth Equity Partners and Heartland Media LLC.
