Carter-Waters LLC has acquired CMA Supply Co. Inc. Financial terms weren’t announced. Indianapolis-based CMA Supply distributes concrete and masonry products and accessories to professional contractors in the residential, commercial, and industrial end-markets. Carter-Waters is a portfolio company of Merit Capital Partners and Aiglon Capital Management LLC. Matrix Capital Markets Group advised CMA.

Kering to sell Sergio Rossi to Investindustrial

Investindustrial has agreed to buy Sergio Rossi from Kering. Financial terms weren’t announced. Sergio Rossi is an Italian luxury footwear brand.

Yahoo calls off plans to spin off Alibaba stake

Yahoo! Inc. said Wednesday that it has called off plans to spin off its remaining stake in Alibaba Group Holding Ltd due to tax concerns. Yahoo’s board is now focusing on a reverse spinoff where the company’s assets and liabilities outside of the Alibaba stake would be transferred to a newly formed company.

Eudaley joins UserZoom as CFO

UserZoom said Tuesday that Deborah Eudaley has joined as CFO while Andrew Jensen was named Vice President of Product Management and Kuldeep Kelkar joined as Vice President of Professional Services. San Jose, California-based UserZoom provides a research & testing SaaS platform. In October, UserZoom raised $34 million in a round led by TC Growth Partners.

Halyard Capital sells EducationDynamics

An investor group led by Muirlands Capital, KnowledgeShares and Prudential Capital Group has acquired EducationDynamics. Financial terms weren’t announced. Halyard Capital, the seller, will continue to be a minority investor. Hoboken, New Jersey-based EducationDynamics helps colleges and universities – for-profit and not-for-profit, traditional and online, private and public, large and small – find the student prospects and achieve their enrollment goals. Lazard Middle Market advised EducationDynamics/Halyard.

Cerberus invests $105 mln in PaxVax

Cerberus Capital Management L.P. has invested $105 million for a majority economic interest in PaxVax Inc. Financial terms weren’t announced. Ignition Growth Capital and other existing investors will remain as minority shareholders. PaxVax is a Redwood City, California-based specialty vaccine company.

Siris Capital closes PGi buy

Siris Capital Group has completed its buy of Premier Global Services Inc. The deal, announced in September, was valued at $1 billion. Ted Schrafft was named PGi's new CEO. He succeeds Boland Jones who was appointed to PGi’s board of directors.

Technimark buys Ci Medical Technology

Technimark said Tuesday that it has acquired Ci Medical Technology from Altaris Capital Partners. Financial terms weren’t announced. Latrobe, Pennsylvania-based Ci Medical is a contract manufacturer of injection-molded components used in medical devices and pharmaceutical products. Technimark is a Pritzker Group Private Capital company.

Gryphon Investors buys majority of Jensen Hughes

Gryphon Investors has acquired a majority stake in Jensen Hughes. Financial terms weren’t announced. San Francisco-based Jensen is a consulting firm specializing in fire protection engineering, fire code consulting and related life safety services in commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities. Lincoln International and Deloitte Corporate Finance acted as financial advisors to Gryphon and Moelis & Company acted as financial advisor to Jensen.
