CardFlight said Thursday it raised $4.2 million in Series A funding. The round was co-led by an investor group assembled by Dan Henry and MATH Venture Partners. CardFlight provides mobile point of sale (POS) technology.

Investcorp said Thursday it has acquired POC for $65 million. Black Diamond Inc. was the seller. POC, of Stockholm, makes skiing and cycling helmets, gear and accessories. DC Advisory advised Investcorp.

Roper Technologies said Thursday that it has agreed to buy Aderant Holdings Inc. in a deal valued at $675 million. Madison Dearborn Partners was the seller. Atlanta-based Aderant provides business management software for legal and other professional services firms. Lazard advised Madison Dearborn.

The Blackstone Group has agreed to buy BioMed Realty Trust Inc. for $23.75 a share or $8 billion. Biomed owns office buildings that cater to life science tenants in Boston-Cambridge, San Francisco, San Diego and Seattle. The deal is expected to close in first quarter 2016.

A consortium led by QIC Global Infrastructure Fund has agreed to buy Iona Gas Storage Facility for A$1.78 billion. EnergyAustralia, a member of the China Light & Power Group, is the seller. The investor group includes existing QIC clients. Iona is an underground natural gas storage facility that has a storage capacity of 23.5 petajoules.
