Connelly joins Intervale Capital

Patrick Connelly has joined Intervale Capital as a partner while the energy-focused private equity firm said it promoted Jason Turowsky to Partner. Connelly was previously an MD at SCF Partners. Turowsky was named a Principal of Intervale in January.

BHR, AVIC Auto close $600 mln buy of Henniges Auto

BHR and AVIC Auto have closed their buy of Henniges Automotive. The deal was valued at around $600 million. BHR, a Sino-U.S. investment firm, owns 49 percent while AVIC has 51 percent of Henniges. Auburn Hills, Michigan-based Henniges designs, makes and sells highly engineered vehicle systems for doors, windows, trunks, lift-gates, sunroofs and hoods. Littlejohn & Co. announced the sale Sept. 9.

Onapsis raises $17 mln

Onapsis said Tuesday it raised $17 million in Series B funding led by Evolution Equity Partners. Also taking part in the round were existing investor .406 Ventures as well as new investor Arsenal Venture Partners. Boston-based Onapsis provides solutions to ensure SAP and Oracle enterprise application security.

Overholser leads $2.25 mln round for SquadLocker

SquadLocker said Monday it raised $2.25 million in a seed round of funding led by George Overholser, CEO of Boston’s Third Sector Capital Partners. Slater Technology Fund also invested in the round. Warwick, Rhode Island SquadLocker is an athletic apparel dealer.

Morsco, a portfolio company of Advent International, has acquired Murray Supply Company. Financial terms weren’t announced. Winston-Salem, North Carolina-based Murray Supply is a plumbing supply company. The Orr Group advised Murray Supply.

Institutional Shareholder Services Inc. has acquired Ethix SRI Advisors AB. Financial terms weren’t announced. Ethix, with offices in Stockholm and Copenhagen, provides investment research and advisory solutions.

Vize Capital buys Bevo Media

Vize Capital has acquired Bevo Media. Financial terms weren’t announced. San Diego-based Vize Capital provides a tracking platform and ad exchange for the performance marketing industry.

Blue Heron Capital invests in Tricast

Blue Heron Capital said Monday has completed an investment in Tricast Inc. Financial terms weren’t announced. Brook Venture Partners also invested. Milwaukee-based Tricast is a healthcare IT company focused on pharmacy benefit data monitoring and analytics.

Ken Hanau has left 3i Group after nine years to join Bain Capital.

Aleyant buys Keen's web-to-print business

Aleyant said Monday it acquired Keen System Inc.’s web-to-print business. Financial terms weren’t announced. The deal includes Keen’s web-to-print technology platform, web-to-print customers and their name, logo and brand. Investors of San Francisco-based Keen include 500 Startups and IDG-Accel.
