Kohlberg & Co has put Interstate Hotels & Resorts Inc on the block in a deal that could fetch $1 billion, Bloomberg said. Kohlberg has hired bankers to seek buyers for the for the third-party hotel management company, the story said.

Natixis denied Monday that it was in discussions over a possible takeover offer for Coface SA, Reuters reported. Last week, Reuters said that Apollo Global Management had offered to buy Coface, which would allow Natixis SA to sell its 42 percent stake in the credit insurance company. “Nonetheless, there is currently no discussion underway likely to give rise to the submission of an offer for this holding,” Natixis said in the story.
