Banexi Capital Partners’ management team has acquired 100 percent of the business six years after it spun-out from BNP Paribas. To mark the occasion the firm has been rebranded under the name Azulis Capital.
The French buyout firm was established more than 15 years ago as part of BNP Paribas. It gained independence from the French bank in 2004 when its partners acquired a 51 percent stake in the business.
Azulis manages €580 million in private equity funds. Its 12-strong investment team is headed by managing partners Franck Boget and Michel Rowan, and includes partners André Belard, Yann Collignon, Nicolas Cosson, Pierre Jourdain, Bruno Lavolle, Christine Mariette and Gilles Perony.
The mid-market firm typically invests between €5 million and €20 million into companies with sales of between €20 million and €250 million via leveraged buyouts.
