Baring Private Equity Asia has closed Baring Asia Private Equity Fund VII at its $6.5 billion hard-cap, surpassing the fund’s target by $1 billion. The fund, which is over 60 percent larger than its predecessor, will invest in healthcare, education, TMT, business services, financial services, consumer goods and manufacturing companies across Asia.
