British Patient Capital approves £20m commitment

The UK government-backed investor has committed to a life sciences focused venture/growth capital fund.

British Patient Capital, a subsidiary of British Business Bank, has committed £20 million ($25 million; €24 million) to Cambridge Innovation Capital’s Fund II, according to a press release from the firm.

Fund II, which is managed by Cambridge Innovation Capital, will invest into technology and life sciences companies across Western Europe.
