US law firm Brown Rudnick has hired employment law partner Nicola Kerr from King & Wood Mallesons, where she was European head of employment.
Among Kerr’s clients are private equity employers and executives, Brown Rudnick said. She has also advised employers and executives at hedge funds, family offices, broker dealers and other companies. This includes on contentious and non-contentious issues and focused on major corporate transactions and restructurings, “high value” executive dismissals, team moves, boardroom disputes and litigation.
Brown Rudnick has 25 private equity lawyers, according to its website. In September, it represented UK private equity real estate firm Henley Investments in a $100 million transaction with the US’ WaterWalk Hotel Apartments to develop franchise properties in the US.
Kerr is the seventh new partner to join the firm at its London office in the last two years.
