CalPERS commits $325m to two funds

The $326.4 billion US public pension backs an Asia-focused and a global-focused vehicle.

The California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) disclosed commitments of $250 million to Carlyle Asia Partners V and $75 million to TPG Growth IV.

The $326.4 billion US public pension has an 8.0% allocation to private equity.
